Coralline algae

Hey guys how long does corraline grow on the tank in my old 65 the corraline grew pretty quick and now since i upgraded i feel likw it's taking a longer time!
the new tank has been up for a month and i only get some brown and green algae on the glass, running a calcium reactor and sump/fuge all water parameters re ok, does it take longer all my rocks are covered with corraline from the old tank so how long does it take!

Longer than a month in a new tank. The calcium reactor is a great step in the right direction though. What light is on the tank?

I have 2 250w Mh w 14k SE Bulbs 2 T5 Actinics. Another thing Does Purple up really work on making the corraling grow faster!

Also I am intersted on doing a closed loop for my tank can anyone tell me what's the advantage of it ?

Coralline in my 10g took off in less than a month =\...kinda mad I'm getting more in the 10g than in my 65 :banghead:...guess keeping you hand outta the tank helps :lol:

doesnt work for me ,and still no coralline on my glass :grumpy:
