OK so i got the lights, now what

I recieved my T5 lights today. It came with the fixture and bulbs but the fixture has no glass to protect it from the water and salt and also, there's nothing to mount it on my tank. Any good ideas on how I should keep it above my tank and to keep it from eroding? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Do you have a hood? How about a picture of the tank in the room?

for now you can use 2x4 and mount it on top of them til you come up with something ,

well, it's pretty much sitting on 2 metal rods right now and I have a HOB filter so that's kind getting in the way. it came with 4 hooks so I can hang it up from the ceiling but I have no screws to screw it into the ceiling. How does everyone have their lights? I do have a hood but it was a regular FW flourescent hood that only has glass big enough for 1 light to geth through.

kinda blurry but you get the idea. When i keep it like this, the water splashes on the bulbs.
