Are there any types of octopus out there that doesn't grow to large and can be kept in a tank? I've never heard or seen it but it'd be cool to see a little squid or octopus type creature in my tank. I mean shrimps, crabs, snails, fish etc are all very cool but maybe going a little exotic could be even more fun... just wondering

they don't live long either- i think around 2 yrs max

i would love to have one though- an octo would be sick. they are incredibly smart and you could probably train it!

i was reading about this one octo in a reasearchers tank- one day they noticed all the fish disapearing in a tank across the desk from the octos tank. They didn't know what was up until they set up a camera- the octo was opening up its lid, crawling across the table- opening up the fish tanks lid- getting the fish out and then sliding back to its own tank, opening up the lid, and going home! Almost like it knew it would be caught if it just stayed in the fish tank. I thought that was pretty cool :smokin:
