Drilling Acylic & Glass -

Just curious on what kind of bits are used to drill holes in acrylic & glass.
Is this something hard to do, as far as cracking the material during the process?

Considering making a 1" hole in my acrylic sump to connect a skimmer externally.

I just made 8 holes in my acrylic sump. You can buy one of those HD hole saw around $6.

For glass, you need diamond coated hole saw. This thing is bit expensive.
