Im not tryin to insult you, I was doing the same thing, its just that I am surprised you put a seaclone 100 on a 120. Regardless, it is not very expensive to go to a sump setup, they're a bunch of guys who will be willing to make you a sump for beer money, lol. By they way, welcome to Manhattan Reefs, and I didn't mean to offend you or insult you, if I did, I apologize.
Now if I can make a suggestion, if you go with a sump setup, get the asm g skimmers which wont cost you that much. Hang on the back skimmer, get a turboflotor. But with a sump setup, you will have more options and more stability.

I had a Seaclone as my first skimmer, I started with a 29. Then I went to a 55, and It wasn't enough. It wasn't the pump, because a MJ1200 works wonders with the aqua c urchin, it's just that the Seaclone is poorly designed, the air doesn't mix properly with the water, and most of the water that passes through the skimmer goes back into the tank still dirty. In a nutshell, the Seaclone is very inneficient.
Just my 2 cents worth, been there, done that!

I think we all had a seaclone at one point or another. If you go on RC you will find some cool mods that you can make to the seaclone to make it more efficient.

Do a search on RC but the search has to be done b4 the western seaboard wakes up unless you are a premium member.
