re fish store in the city

Does anyone know of a decent saltwater fish store in the city? I'm at 45th and madison and wanted to pick up some mysis shrimp for my hippo on my way home

I believe you meant brime shrimp, i don't think LFS have live mysis, but brime shrimp. Check out petland at below address, they should have live brime shrimp for sale. Call them up and ask if they have any in stock. Hippo are not picky eater, they are easy to feed. Good luck

Anyway I'll look into those stores.

Are you looking for live mysis, or frozen. Any store (even Petco) should have frozen

Yeah as michael state, if you looking for frozen mysis, any LFS should have them in stock.

After reading this post I decided to walk down to New World and check them out. Lots of stuff in one little place. Some of the Corals/fish looked nice... some not so nice. The prices are definately a bit high.

little off topic:

they have a tank full of purple tangs... cheap from what I have seen in other places ($49.99 I think it was or .95... whatever). They look like they need some TLC, but for the price, if they come around definately nice.
