did you add a calcium additive or buffer. that had happened to me when i added the calcium buffer to my tank. but if you didnt it could be something decomposing.
i didnt see the 2nd page of the post. well thats good the water cleared. it def. must of been the kalk comming out of solution. that happens even with calcium. dont think it was a bacterial bloom at all.
