Well turned off the lights on my nano about an hour and a half ago. Go into the kitchen and the tank is milky!!!!! I can barely see an inch into the tank. What could of caused it?

Could be an anemone going bad or a softie or leather coral as they tank is so small it any of those could have cause the tank to go like that.

Everything was fine prior to the lights going off. Hopefully nothing happens in the next few hours to cause the tank to crash. That would succckkkk

LoL..maybe I did but this never happened before...and it was teeennnyyyy tinnnyyy bitt too. I diluted a spoon in 10g's of water this time.....

I had this happen to me when I kept fish only.
Spoke to a marine biologist @ TFP, he said it was a bacterial bloom.
Nothing to do but wait and see.
Unfortunately I lost everything

Spawning? The process of some coral doing the nasty in your tank!! That usually happens at night. I know that you are meticulous about your tank so no on will be asking you the usual questions. I recommend that you check the genitalia of the coral to see if they are acting horny! :shocked1: :icon16:

Just out of curiousity - what do you eat your cereal with if not milk?

when corals do it, the smell of it stinks, also i would think it's a large bacteria bloom.

Well everything looks fine now, just the glass is stil white. Nothing seemed to die and water cleared back up.
