Just did a ph test and found my water to be in the range of about 7.8ish , just added some snails last night to find that they are not moving at all today....
I have a PH buffer (proper ph 8.2) but i am afraid it will kill my fish , recommended doses is 1 scooper per 10 g .....
What should i do?

try using buffer when doing a water change ,also check your water before changing it ,Ph ,Ca ,You should make sure it matches your parameters in your tank ,this way you know at least you are changing the same parameter of water ,no stressing your fish/coral or inverts.IMO

So just adding the buffer would be a bad idea than ?
Or should i do another water change, sorry but hate when things arent right (have to fix it right away) or try at least =P

i dont htink you should do more water changes ,,add buffer slowly very slow ,that it ,test your water half or 1 hr after adding buffer do this until you are at the level needed ,8.2 then stop ,dont change water unless you have other prob ,let your tank do what it has too the more you play with your tank ,the more prob you are going to have ,too much water changing is no good either .dont panic either ,things will no alway be at 100% althou we thrive to have it that way ,but if it doesnt ,just dont panic :knockedou
