hey guys got a question about an anemone

i saw a curly anemone at the store. it was pinkish color and looked well curly anyone no when these get bigger if they look good in a tank. thanks in advance..

A while back I had one in my tank. Hitchhiker. It was a good citizen until the damn thing multiplied again and again. I ended up giving em all away.

yea thats the one i saw in the store. umm do they sting as the other anemones do. if i get this tom. should i keep it away from my pink tip and my pink zoo's

yea that anemone is pretty cheap. going for 6.00 and a nice size to. at petland. i will be quaratining it once i get it. if i do get or ill wait till tuesday hes getting a bunch of new stuff in..

Why are you quarantining the anemone? Please read up on them before you spend the $6.

i will be doing that because it comes with the live rock it is attached to. and its coming from petland discounts. i really dont want to add it directly to my show tank and have the chance of ruining the whole tank.

thanks deanos and cali for your inputs. deanos so i guess i will place a big no on that curly tip anemone. i thought it looked nice and diff. but its ok theres nicer stuff out there.

hey cali reef, and deanos what other colorful things should i look for in coral wise. i want to make this tank look even nicer. maybe some nicer softie corals or sumtin. let me no what my choices are. as of now i have the pink tip anemone which is doing great and pink zoanthids (frag)

Mushrooms are available in several colors and are relatively inexpensive.
