ENALY OZONE on ebay

hey all, as I've been discusing I'm adding Ozone to my 180 reef, eventually going to be used on the 450.

I read on RC that this company ENALY was producing a great ozoner, they deal on ebay great shipping, Blah, Blah Blah,....
well I ordered one through ebay.....

I paid for express 5 day shipping, took 10 business days to get here,
was poorly packed looks like they dropped it from the plane. the corners are bent and nicked have to touch up the finish so it doesnt rust.
I sent them an email regarding the shipping and again that it arrived damaged.
I got no response.
I did get a response after I posted neg feedback
they want me to pay to ship it back to Shanghi china, only than will they refund me the purchase price I have to eat the shipping charges!


beware if you decide to deal with them.
The only reason I've posted this, I did post in another thread that I purchased this item and I doint want any of you guys to get burned like I did.

Luckily it works buit all in all not a good transaction

Cheap is cheap...I'm suprised you'd expect more than just a working unit from a cut rate O3 mailed directly from China...

For the price (I actually got mine even cheaper), I was just happy that it works...

I have 2 from them both were from ebay a 200-300 mg/hr from an independant seller the 1000 mg/hr unit direct from Enaly,

both work well I felt I got hosed on shipping I paid for 5 day express and it took much longer, it came banged up when I "bitched " about it no return email
when I posted neg feedback I got a reply that if I sent back I would get a refund less shipping why should I pay shipping when they screwed up?

That always pisses me off!! But judging by experiance, dont even try to fight it. One more negative feedback does not affect them in any way shape or form. You are just going frustrate yourself even more.

If you can salvage the unit somehow then try if not, send it back and just loose on shipping but at least you keep your sanity.

How is the ozone reactor coming along. I cant wait to see it!!! Hope all works out!
