returm pump shut down.help!!!!!!!!!!

I turn off my return pump and it wouldn't start again.. I pick it down and clean it and the same problem..

it's a Velocity Pump T4 pump.. can anyone tell me what the problem could be?

hm....do hear noise from propeller?
or its dead?.....i hope water didnt touch the motor?
let me know..i have iwaki -40rlt...at home..
i alwast keep extra pump...u never know,,,,
but,better to be safe....

i am hearing a little humming. These Velocity Pump T4 are so slient..I will try an over night soak and give an update

Well this might sound stupid but I give my rio's a good bump and they work afterwards. When they finally kick the bucket I will never again buy one.

Is your impellar shaft cracked? Did you check the whole impellar assembly when you disassemble the T4 for cleaning?

Ok .i clean it and give it a good over night soak and set it back up..it start ot run and stop..so I take it back down and I also notice the water inthe pump water hot.,is this normal? I am doing a water changeand I will update later..
