Re: Finger leather coral not opening up
Today I found my finger leather coral closed all the way. In the past few days I noticed fewer and fewer polyps but it was still opening up under the normal output fluorescents I have in the 70. I'm getting t5's soon. No change in water parameters but the last day or two I've had a temp swing from 78 to 81 and it normally is within the 78-80 range.
Do these corals go through some sort of shedding process? I've also notice the large turbo snails on it so maybe that stressed it out.
I've also recently started to add pickling lime on my auto top off.
Should I just wait and see?
