Anybody ever ordered from the on-line retailer specialty-lights.com? They've got some great prices on T5 fixtures and free shipping. I'm wondering if anyone's heard anything negative about them...

Looking at their Tek T5 36" fixture (4 bulb), 4 Bulbs included, and Tank mounts, the prices are pretty good ($375.). I just order this same exact setup from Seedsetc.com for $358.50, so not too much of a difference. But yu may want to look there.

seedsect.com is a bit cheaper. And specialty-lights.com was already cheaper than the other sites. Did these things fall off a truck or something? :bigeyes2:

Don't think so... but when I called the guy I spoke with was nice and very pleaseant. He did say they drop ship the lights from the manufacturer. SO maybe they can save a few extra buck without the one leg of shipping?

Okay, I placed the order for the 48'', 6-bulb set-up. The total for the fixture, cover, 5 bulbs, and shipping came out to $455. What was puzzling to me was that shipping came out to $3.50. Is that possible? :shocked1: :icon16:
