going to get tunze streams.. if not maybe i'll design a close looped which would be another set of pipes... i'll see

lighting would be 3x250W MH with 2 actinic blue supplements

Looks like a good plan but I wouldn't shoot the skimmer output into the refugium (too many bubbles)
Also, you don't need live rock in the sump. It will serve no purpose since you already have live rock in your tank, not to mention that its a detritus trap. Running micron bags over your overflow pipes is a great way to help keep the sump detritus free and remove wastes from the main tank. PS if you use micron bags don't get those neat little ones with the acrylic holder. They will clog up in a day which will become a PITA to clean all the time. Get the big $10 ones from Premium Aquatics. They go 4-5 days on my before they need cleaning + I've been reusing mine for 6 months...so they are very durable.

I don't quite get your sump. It looks different from the side view and top view :D FWIW I would go with a seperate refugium so it can be easily cleaned or removed. A simple rubbermaid with a bulk head and feed by a teed of overflow above the sump would be very easy to setup and maintain

I'm just shooting out some ideas here. What are you trying to achieve with the new tank? All SPS? Mixed? sanded or BB? Shark tank?...lol :D

tell you the truth the side view i didn't put much effort cause its the 2d side view...
i'll try to make a 3-d side view to portray my design...

as for the PS output into the fuge.. i was thinking that since there will be pods and living things in the fuge... they deserve some clean water haha thats what i was thinking.. wasn't thinkin about the bubbles...

thanx for the micron bag idea.. that would save some money and work on the acrylic

i see what other people got to say and then i'll probably redraw..

oh btw... my tank will probably go fish first and some corals i have now in my 75G...
then once i got everything setup... and around 2-3 months in operation... i'll add a calcium reactor and then start going into SPS... would be a waste of a 180G w/o SPS
but shark would be nice
