hey guys just had a easy question.. which is the better ballast to order magnetic or electronic.

im going to be ordering from hellolights soon. aprox. 2 weeks and am planning out the lighting for the 75 gallon..

2 250 watt mh. retrokits. there about 135.00 with the ballast/without the bulb.. im going to do both bulbs 13000k and if anyone no's where i can get them at a cheaper price please let me no.. pretty much the best bulb for the buck..

another question should i get the screw in type single ended or the double ended type.. im leaning toward the screw in type... guys let me no please... thanks

Ballast of course electronic...
Is silent , not too hot , smaller , not heavy like magnetic and your ConEd billing will be a little lower ;)
About bulb... I prefer DE but I think SE is easier to install .
If you gonna use only 2 bulbs IMO better for you if you gonna buy SE but if you want to use some bulb in the center of your canopy , then better to put DE .

Best Regards
