Stuff in water

Ok I have liek tiny particles floating around in my tank. I have no clue what it is and it doesn't look like anything but maybe sand particles suspended through the tank. I hooked a canester filter on sat and there still there. What could this stuff be. I checked my levels and my nitrates are 5mg/l calciums great and no amonia. What do I do.

you can put filter socks by your overflow drains (quick and easy)
or you can run a Diatom Fileter (more involved, but will filter ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING out of your water - you wont even know there is water in the tank).

It could be plankton, sand or detritus. Try to get a picture.

I think i have a diatom filter the guy gave it to me when he sold me the tank now the question is how to hook this thing up. Let me go try
