Okay, I had a little bleaching episode go down not too long ago. Rich (Jackson6745) was over my house last week. He suggested dropping down my photoperiod. Keep in mind that the bleaching primarily effected my pocilloporas, they were all completely white. Acros and stylos lightened up a little bit, not bad at all. Knocked down my photoperiod from 8 hours down to 6... all 4 MH bulbs are on for only 4 hours. 2 on/2 off for the first hour and 2 on/2 off for the last hour. One poc has gone from white pink in 4 days and the other 2 are shifting from white to light purple. Acros and stylos are darkening too.
I guess less time under intense light works. I remember when I was doing research before buying my first tank, it was reccomended that you keep lights on for 10 to 12 hours, 8 hours was a worst case scenario. I'm down to 6 and i'd like to knock off one more.
