Bike Ride for M.S.

OK all you New Yorkers. On Oct 7th I am hosting a Bike ride for Multiple Sclorosis out in Riverhead Long Island. We are starting at the Best Western hotel (which my good friend owns) at the end of the LIE and going twenty miles. There is a rest stop at ten miles at Iron Pier Beach.
At the end we have a barbecue around the pool in the Hotel. We did it last year and it was a lot of fun and we raised a lot of money for MS research.
If anyone is interested let me know.
Also if I am not allowed to post this, I guess you should delete it.
Thanks and have a great day.
Paul

Hey Paul,

I am sure the mods are OK with your thread. After all it's for a great cause. Let me talk to my wife and see if we can make it.

JP well alright then!
Good man
By the way we have a truck following us in case a wimp, I mean someone can't make it.
Of course I am kidding as it is not a race but we do have a truck.
Thanks.
We also need volunteers with a car or motorcycle that would be willing to stand at a corner for 30 minutes to tell people where to turn.

Great Cause! Jer's aunt has MS and we sponsor her every year. She always does at least a little bit of the MS walk in her area.

Thanks guys. Actually, my wife has MS too. She has had it for about ten years but she has almost about no noticable symptoms yet and we hope it stays like that. She gives herself an injection every day.
So we do the MS thing. Some people do the cancer thing and some do the heart thing. They are all good causes and someday hopefully there will be no need for these events and we will ride bikes just for the sake of riding bikes.
This is us at the ride last year at the beach which is where we have a rest and a snack.
Have a great day.

None of you guys ride bikes?
You can talk fish or collect water. Actually the beach where we stop is the place where I collect water.

Paul,

I ride - well used to ride ALOT and belonged to the Staten Island Bicycling Association who run the Pumpkin Patch Pedal down in Jackson NJ. I would visit them for some great rides at www.siba.org.

Enjoy the ride

We had the MS bike ride last week and it was a big success. Even though we had about 10 cancellations we still donated about $3,500.00 to MS research.
I hope next year I can get some of you couch potatoes to ride
