Question Home extension "sunroom"

as you all know i have a new baby coming the spare room i have is just simply way too small i wanted to add an extention to the house where my balcony is anyone have one of thoes? whats the apx cost you paid? did you need a permit? anyone know a place that does it? thanks!!

Is that a picture of what you want to enclose? Do you mean a balcony like most condos have? I'm not sure what you mean but yes you definitely will need permits.

I think it works that if the additional structure does bear a load then a permit is not required. But since this will be a living space then you may need a permit like Fritz said. Best thing to do is check with the city regarding the permits.
