Dell Inspiron 8600 4+ yrs old and still somewhat brand new in terms
of processing and hardware ... was built over the phone with the rep and made sure it was gonna be up to date for awhile ... should last me another year or so ...

PS- where is everyone/anyone getting external harddrives from? I need one after my first and hopefully last deadly virus killed my windows boot up files ..
Running windows ontop of windows right now until i can back everything up and wipe it clean ...

I like the air but the one problem I have with it is the accessibility of the headphone jack. It is a major problem and I cannot believe that Apple has to screw with the standard port size every time they make a new device.
