Brett Favre Traded To Jets!

Not a huge Jet fan here (actually a major Giant fan to be honest) but have been watching the news on Brett Farve and this morning it was announced he will officially be a jet which is great news for the team since Chad just never got it done ...

NFL starts Thurs get ready!

Big improvement over Pennington! They'll win a lot more games and possibly playoff contenders.Bret is a winner but he takes a lot of chances deep with that shotgun arm of his.Never thought he'll come here but very cool.

I'm a Packers fan, and have always been a Brett Favre fan, but this whole odyssey has really confused me. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall in those meetings in Green Bay! I'll definately go see him play for the NEW JERSEY Jets, but more for nostalgia... I am still a Packer's fan, 110%!!!!

I am shocked on how green bay handled this matter. How do u turn ur back on a hall of fame qb who won u a super bowl, multiple pro bowls, and took u to the nfc championships last year.

You turn your back on him because he retired before the draft... leaving the packers with a hole at QB so they drafted two QB's . If they knew he was gonna come back, they could have drafted another WR or DE or LB.... He screwed them over...

Lets go Colt's, he should have just retired. and don't blame the packer's, he either knew or didnt know if he was coming back to play and the packers covered them self for the position, and why not. how much longer can he play

I am a long time Jet fan, Brett Farve is a waste of time. The guy is 38 years old, all this does is slow the development of Clemens. Does anybody really think Jets will win the AFC East with the Pats.

If we start Clemens at least we know if he can play or not. Then go straight to the Draft again for a QB if he sucks. But now with Farve, just wasted 1 to 2 years. Clemens sit in the bench like Rodgers did in Green Bay. At least in Green Bay he was a legend. A legend that can't make up his mind.

When I play madden 09 I'm going Blitz Farve like crazy.

Lets face it, the Jets just wanted to make sure they sold out every home home game for the next year or two. Lets also face that Clemens will never be as good as Favre is at 38. This was a great move by the Jets as now they can use Coles and Cotchery to their full potential. This team could contend for a wild card spot.

Go 49ers!!!
