A Salute to Mike and the Mad Dog on the Fan....

I would just like to extend my gratitude for what these two men have done for New York Sports.... I am sure all of the listeners on this website already Know, but Mad Dog Chris Russo is not on WFAN anymore.... I am listening to the show right now, and can not be more grateful for all of the hours these two have given us New Yorkers... I know this isn't the correct avenue to thank them, ( I could call the show...) But i feel that I am sure there are other listeners that are manhattan reefers...

So close the book on one of the greatest sports talk radio shows if not the GREATEST sports talk radio EVER.

Thank you Mad Dog for your 19 years of service in my 22 Years of age.

eh... not a fan of him. especially because of all the "love" he gives hockey...none

20 years in the game though, that IS impressive

I am not a fan either, but I give them the respect they deserve. They did it for a long time.

Bitter sweet, great tandem but I am glad I dont have to hear Mad Dog anymore. Good broadcaster but could be very annoying sometimes.

I was a devout listener. Chris's voice was annoying as all hell. He hated NY teams. Hung up on listeners before they had a chance to voice their opinions. Put on his act of getting agitated about the slightest, stupidest thing going. I like Mike. I'm glad he's the one left behind.

Their back and forth was ok.

Best of luck Mike. I'm sure Chris will land on his feet.

Chris will be fine. He off the cuff mentioned a few months ago that he was leaving, just a matter of when. I believe he is on his way to Sirrius radio.

well i can honestly say that i just found out that it ended. i was really not a fan of the show. i have spoken to them a couple of times. i just dont like the format of the show and i do know that they do know there stuff. i respect 19 years. it was great. chris is going to satelite. good ridance. couldnt stand him. but respected some of his info. mike i actually enjoyed. congrads and good luck to both
