Coralife vs Satellite?

simple question...

which one would you prefer for my 29 gallon reef tank...

30 inch 2x65 Watt Current USA PowerCompact Dual Satellite Fixture

or.....

Coralife 30 Inch Aqualight With 2-65W 50/50 Lamps Straight Pin Base (with fans)

or.....

Coralife 30 Inch lunar Aqualight With 2-65W

PS: if you have any of these for sale please post or PM me

I have a 36" Corallife PC. I like it but it really depends what you plan to have in your tank. Right now, I use it as a back up.

If they have a 30" Orbit you should go for that. Best you can buy in PC hoods IMO...very solid, quiet, nice looking, etc..

Depending on what you want to keep you might want to think about other options. T5 and/or Metal halide lighting are the best options for SPS corals, while PC is great for most soft and LPS corals. If you go with PC lihting I have used and still use a Coralife lunar aqualight and I love it.

Go with corallife, both of my current 96watt stripelights' ballast burnt out within a year
