why would u go with a 4 stage when u could of went with a 6 stage

I have a corallife PureFlow three stage 50GPD unit, they are built pretty well and price was cheap for me(free). I like the clear housing they use and all the parts used, kinda unexpected for a Corallife product. I use it primarily to feed my frige's ice maker and cold water faucet.
