Well Im happy with the live rock in the tank and I wont be adding more, so id like to get some corals and stuff in there now. I currently have, PC light 4x65W (i think), Emporer 400 filter, Remora Skimmer, Maxijet 900 pump, Aquaclear 70 pump. Just wondering what the best options for a begginer are.

Lets see, these are the corals I have been unable to kill (despite my best efforts) since I started my reef a couple of years ago with PC lighting (I've since switched to MH, but these guys were all doing fine with PC): Pagoda cup, yellow polyps, frogspawn, bubble coral, pavona catus, hydno, and lobo brain. I also kept an RBTA, but I fed him a little more often to compensate for the lighting. These are all nice looking and pretty forgiving corals. |

Noob I have a 55 g tank Aquaclear 50 and an MJ1200 powerheads. Eheih 2236 cannister filter, and a remora Protien skimmer. Kenya trees, Colt corals Mushrooms, xenia and some lps like frogspawn, bubble coral and a few brains and blasto's. Look at my gallery see how my PC lighting takes care of all of my corals. You have alot of things to choose from. Stick with the general rule of no SPS or high lighting coral and you should be good. If you want to go with SPS you should go with MH lighting.
