Brooklyn thinking of a 10 or 20 gallon setup

hi everyone im thinkin of setting up a ten or twenty gallon tank with just danios or clowns.No corals,maybe rocks thats it whats the cheapest, cheapest way to accomplish that,if possible please give me a list of what i should get

off the top of my head

i have a 10g tank and some rock i can sell to u for real cheap. LMK

Welcome to MR. Good to see you ask questions BEFORE you buy anything.

In addition to the list above, you'll need some sort of filtration and something for water circulation.

A FO (fish only) tank doesn't necessarily need a protein skimmer. However, if you elect not to use a protein skimmer then you should use some sort of mechanical, chemical, biological filtration. An aquaclear filter (oversized IMO) would work.

You might also want to put a small powerhead in the tank for water movement.

Canister filter is fine. Just have to clean it regularly about every 2 weeks.
