I am setting up a 20H Gallon tank, its 24x13x16. No sump for now. I not sure what powerhead to get for this size tank. Tried Maxi-jet 600 and Koralia 1, both seems to be two much current. Goal is to create enough circulation and movement. 20H Acrylic tank ( Tru Vu ) with blue background Remora Skimmer with MJ1200 No Sump Sunpod 150 Watts HQI LR, LS some frags of SPS, Blastoma, Zoos, ricordia, Clove Polyps, Candy cane. Plan to get frogspawn and Green Toadstool. |

It might not be the flow that's keeping your cloves closed. I have the same tank with a tunze nano 6025(about 600gph) and a mag 5 I think on the return and it's still not too much for the tank. Softies and LPS are fine. Zoa's as well.... Like Dean said, how does adding another pump make the movement less?
