question on salinty and algae

i just mix my water ith salt a little while ago and i tested it, and its VERY HIGH 1.035ish...is it going to down on its own?? or do i need to start putting more water in... also i hav like green and reddish fuzz on my rocks.. good ro bad

Just for haha's, what are you using to measure your salinity? Refractometer? Hydrometer?
