So....I just found one of these little buggers(Cirolanid Isopod) in my tank...I was able to grab him with tongs and pull it out.... Now, If I have 1, does that mean a have many? Fish I have: 1 blck/whte clown(more than likely angler food eventually) 1 wartskin angler 4-5 chromis(food for the angler) I dont have a 2nd tank...but in about .5-3 months I will be getting a new tank. Here is a link(top right pic) http://www.melevsreef.com/id/pods.html

They kill fish dont they? Here is a pic. Yeah, that was my only question ![]() The color is alittle off.....the bug is in a clear plastic cup, on a black marble countertop....so, I guess there was to much light, hence the yellowish tint

I wouldn't put him back in. If there the type that are parasites they can attach to your fish. Best to dispose of it and look and see if you have any more. The link below talks about them and how to get rid of them, if you have any in your tank. http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-02/bp/index.php |

I apologize, but the pic link you referenced in your first post was of a good pod. I actually thought to myself, wow he's good to catch one of those tiny things with tongs...lol Glad you got the correct information!
