on the packaging, it boasts of buffering your trace elements that are utilized by your corals.
do you also agree with this? do you feel that any addition of trace elements is unnecessary since you have mud in your system?
In an interview, the maker of the Miracle Mud mainly talks about filtration purpose. I cannot remember he talks about boasting trace elements. I think he might have added that to hike up the sale price.

I am not sure what other similar products claims they can do.

The reason why I say "worth the money is another issue" in previous posts, is based on this rationale-paying this price for just increasing the macro growth?

BTW, I did not refil the mud after it exhausted. I kind of remember I see the label mentioned about extra trace elements in the new mud. But I think it's too expensive anyway even if they have phosphate removing agents or ionizing resins and did not purchasing any. May be if they add diamond, I will consider. LOL.

I have a 150gallon tank that I used to use as refugium, It had 8 to 10 inches of live sand, close to 200lbs of Live rock, but I could never grow macro algae, so I took it off, this was 2 yrs ago, The sand is dry, so is the live rocks inside, but I'm willing to give it another shot at it!!!with Miracle Mud, now my question is should I add this miracle mud above the sand substrate or below the substrate?

Also who can suppy 60lbs of it @ good price???
