ok i came home from work today and it looks like the stars leg is starting to come off so im not going to sell it....ill keep everyone posted.

i know the guy at the fish store had said once my tank was cycled to put it in, iv had it about 3 weeks now and i dont know if it injured it self or what but it looks like one of its legs is starting to come off!:frown:

You really need to have a well established fish tank in order to keep this starfish alive. I know why the sales person told you its fine after three weeks cause he made a sale and he didnt care. I dont think you should be selling this starfish to anyone and should ask a mod to close this sale since its dying. trying getting a bigger tank and at least 15 months establishing the fishtank before you put in a starfish.
