Breaking down my little 12g nano, taking care of two tanks isn't for me. The switch is only 2months old at most. I have one these units on my large tank and has worked flawlessly for over 2 years. All of the pictures, and information that follows is from the manufacturer's site www.autotopoff.com My cost was $60.00 after shipping, looking to get $45.00, will ship at actual USPS cost, which is probably around $5.00 Unit is like new condition Specifications Cord Types and Lengths: The controller power and socket cords are made of heavy duty, 18 gauge, water resistant, grounded cable. Each side is 36 inches. The float switch cords are about 20 inches long. Float Switch Type and Information: Madison M8000. Switches are saltwater safe and have no metal parts. Floats are 1" wide and fit into 1.25" PVC pipe. Mount Information: The mount which holds the switches is made from black plastic. 2" wide and 12" total length. The switches are held in place by two zip ties. In addition a nylon screw holds the mount secure to your tank. Switching System Information: Switching system is done by a 15 Amp relay, allowing you to use a device rated up to 1800 watts. Water Level Height: The water level is adjustable from 4" to 9" below sump lip depending on where you attach the switches to the mount using the provided zip ties. Operation: The controller powers a device when the lower float switch senses that your tank water level is low. The device will be turned off when the lower float switch senses your water level is high. The top switch is a backup in case the bottom switch fails. Double Switch - Sump Mount Tank Lip Size 1" (fits 0.25 - 1") $45 |
