You know Leezon, you may be right.

In the spirit of fair disclosure. They do not, and never have had, "bubble tips", but I was told that most lose there bubble tips after a while in aquariums. These have long, rose colored tentacles.

The original was sold to me as an RBTA back about 4 years ago, and has since spilt eight or nine times.

I would be interested in knowing if they are indeed something else and the right name.

Here are some picks for the none reef central members.

Thanks for looking,

Have had a RBTA for about 5 years, (grew to 24") lost bubbles after first year...about a year ago new larger bubbles appeared, and it finally split, when I moved it to put into new 450g tank
There are plenty of pics in my first tank thread.
BTW, I've always been told, that they split, when they are UNhappy...it's a survival response!

The original clone split once. Then, the smaller of the two clones grew large and split, and so and so on and so on.

The original is like 24 inches when fully expanded and has not split in about three years.

Thats just my actual experience though of course.

Thanks for looking and helping with id.

Large Rose Anemones FS or Trade

Bump.

One of the nems went to a new home last night!

Still have another FOUR for sale. $40 each, or will consider a trade for fish, etc.

Thanks!
