Nice set up. So organized and automated. I just got the BRS dosers myself. Need to figure that out. I have an Idea on how it works just need somewhere to mount it and figure out how to time it since I don't have a controller.

Any idea on how to do this with the dial timers? I believe you can only modify these by the half hour.

The plumbing is not very interesting and its hard to get a shot that sheds any light...

I have the flex pool hose goes straight down from left corner overflow right into the filter sock. That compartment has my skimmer and the pump for my reactors. Everything else is plumbed with clear flex tube.

The reactor pump goes to the gfo reactor which then goes to carbon reactor and then to a tee which outputs behind the filter sock. The tee has a connection i can attach a hose with a garden hose thread that I use when i rinse media or do water changes..

The return pump then has 3/4" tubing back to the return bulkhead.

Here's a shot with the canopy off..something I could not do before without disconnecting everything and having to lift it off with the old fixture.

Eztube.com

Was a great experience. They do all the cuts and debur for you. $1 per cut. I had 4 cuts. Gave them the dimensions. I ordered thursday night. They did the cuts and ship on Friday i had it on Monday. I did a very simple rectangle with the 100-120 piece in black powder coat, but if i had the height, i could have put legs and raised it up. I have the option later to drill holes and hang it if i want.

I would order from them in a heartbeat!!!

How do you like the Eshopps PSK-100 skimmer? Do you have experience with any other skimmer & how would you compare it to others?

Can you do a very wet skimmate vs a drier one? Any pain in dialing this one in or with it overflowing at times or simply not skimming at other times?

Its the only skimmer I've ever used. It does go sometimes without much head but usually does pretty well. I've got it dialed in really well and if i just leave it alone it does its thing. I don't have anything to compare it to but if I skim to dry then it gets dirty in the body and eventually stops rising...and the. i panic and raise it...again if i left it it would probably be fine, just filthy inside. I keep it at the point where the body meets the neck and it starts to slope. The skimmate I produce is like a very dark green tea. I added a swabbie and the mess i clean up once a month is pretty damn nasty...

So jrsticks asked about my plumbing so I took some better shots

So starting at the drain the output is under the water line and its super quiet. The tubing in the back right corner is the flex tubing going back to the return.

The line with the tee is the output from the reactor that goes to a small filter sock. The other end of the tee has a garden hose thread adapter so i can hook it up during my wc, media rinsing.

Skimmer shot. The tubing going up and to the left is the input line to my reactors.
