Very impressive list of equipment so far.
Looks like you're going to have plenty of calcium and alk addition. What's the reason for the calcium reactor, the kalk reactor and the litermeter 3?

For the circulation on the closed loop, are you planning on setting something up like Steve Weast with returns all over the place in the live rock? I'd think that 2 vortech's and 2 wavy seas wouldn't be enough. Personally, I'm going to be adding a tad more flow to my 120 where I have 1 sea swirl and 2 tunze 6100's.

On lighting, I just changed from PFO ballast to coralvue and EVC bulbs to reeflux. No idea on the results of coral growth yet, but I'm happier with the coloration day 1.

This looks like it is going to be a beast. I gotta see it while you're putting it together.

if the tank is 88in long including the overflow it will have a total volume of = 409+/- gallons

if its 80in long including the overflow it will be = 372+/- gallons

Dave why are you going with a 30" deep overflow? External overflows are mostly always shorter. There is no need to go so deep with the external overflow.

The calcium Reactor and Kalk I already have on my system, it's merely just to add the calcium and alk to the tank. having a full blown SPS Tank requires large amounts of both. So it's either dose 400+ or calcium reactor.
The Liter meter 3 i use for auto top off and Kalk dosing.
No,I will not have returns all over the place like Steve West. As for enough water movement,
Vortech pump 3000gph each
Dart on Wavy sea's 3200gph
Return on Hammerhead after head pressure 3800 gph
If a possible 13000gph is not good enough in my tank.... I'll have to deal with it.
And thanks for all the question. This will be the best way to improve my system.

Jorge, this will not be a external overflo. It will be internal.

hammerhead that could be a little to big, if you are going to tee it off to run other equipment.I have a 265g with two 2inch hole in the back of my tank the pump i use is barracuda and that match my water flow going down in the sump. I rather have more water movement in the tank then the system. If you going to run a big pump then your sump should be real big
