Looking for a HQI for my 10 gallon reef tank

Hi guys and gals, well i am trying my luck for the first time ever buying something off any of the the reef sites. I am looking for a HQI that would fit my standard 10 gallon tank from Walmart. I was thinking a power compact, but I was told that I would be limited to what I can keep, so I am trying to do it right. I was told a T5 but don't know much about it, so please school me and if you have a HQI in great shape please let me know. My budget is a little tight but let me know, I'll stop buying coffee

and eating popcorn

for a bit so I can keep my soon to be reef tank living good.
