They were out of stock on gracilaria, plus I don't want to pay 30 dollars for shipping for 20 dollars in algae. I'd rather pick up from a reefer or vendor to avoid shipping

You live out on Long Island...Gracillaria (red in the Sound, more yellowish in the bays is easy to find out there. Find a good LI Sound beach, with clean water, and there will be plenty of fresh healthy Gracillaria...especially if the beach is fairly rocky. |

I'm pretty sure the local Red macro algae is Agardhiella tenera although it looks similar to Gracillaria.
