Hey guys, I really need a better overflow. One that can handle more flow. RIght now I have 3 pumps returning water to my MT and my remote 'fuge. The overflow is too small to handle it so now i have a tube siphoning water down to the filter sock to help out the overflow. Also I need a quality means to add 2 54w T5 HO bulbs to accompany my 48" 216w fixture. Id like to add more SPS type corals and im pretty sure some types need 6 tubes. Ideally a 2 bulb retro with individual reflectors and an icecap ballast would be the way to go. I heard somewhere you can get more lumens out of T5 bulbs if you use Icecap ballasts, "overdriven to 80w"? That would be great to get that much output from the actinics I plan to use with these two bulbs. Then again a simple Current 2 bulb fixture with ind reflectors would be fine too. This may very well be my last equiptment purchases in this money pit of a hobby. Aside from bulb replacements and whatever else should break down. Looking forward to completing this project so if anyone has these items i'd love to hear from you.

i have a eshopps double overflow box, i think it's the PF-1000 model. brand new and never touch water. i also have a 2x54 fixture plus 3 bulbs, it was originally 4xt5 but i saw it into 2 pieces and left with 2, still works. The light fixture still can connect 4 bulbs, all the t5 blaste are still in place, but you need to buy the end caps and wire it. sell both for $120 Last edited by alfani; 01-12-2010 at 11:53 PM..

you can see the pic from here, the MH light is already sold but you can see the 2x54 T5 next to it and as for the Eshopps overflow, you can check out from drs Foster & Smith, the model is PF-1000 3 bulbs for T5 included: one 12K Giesemann, one 12K URI bulb both used for 10 months and one brand new never open 12K Giesemann bulb Last edited by alfani; 01-13-2010 at 08:53 AM..
