Adapting Seapora Nano Overflow plumbing

Hi,

I want to add a sump to my Fiji 38 Peninsula. I’ve purchased a Seapora Nano Overflow with a 0.75” bulkhead. However regular PVC won’t screw onto it and the closest size is 1”. I’d like to “downsize” the outlet to fit a 5/8” ID hose due to space limitations. Any suggestions on how I could do that?
