How much GAC and GFO to run in reactor?

54 corner, about 30gal of actual water. How much GAC and GFO should i run in the TLF reactors?

Also thinking of laying a mesh bag of Purigen in there once it's settled in.

depends on the type of remover you're using.
Have you tested your phosphates? I started at 50% the reccommended use and gradually stepped it up with each change.
rowaphos is some strong stuff so you can really make the 1 recommended dose last for 2 months instead of just 1 month.
I use BRS now and have a line that I drew in. it's a little less than a cup's worth.

I agree with DJ. For GAC if NEVER used before, start at 1/2 the recommended dosage, which for most GAC is 1/2 cup / 50 gals and then up it up over time.
