I have a toadstool coral that has gotten ENORMOUS in my tank. In fact, it's gotten so big that it's starting to fall over. In fact, it's now laying down on a second rock and has started to attach to it. I don't really mind this so much, except that now it's laying down right in front of my powerhead, and isn't looking so happy.

I want to slice it off of one of the rocks that it's on - I'm just not sure which one. You can see the toadstool on the right side in my FTS below. In the last couple of weeks, it's started to lie flat against that rock and attach to it.

I have this same toadstool in my tank and I started with one and now have 5. This thing can take a beating and keep on kicking so dont worry too badly about cutting it up it will grow back and probably multiply more and more.

I tried to slice it off of the rock it attached to, just because it was pretty happy in the flow before it started to fall over. But I couldn't get under it - it's attached really good to that rock. so, I slice it off the rock with the devil's hand. It needed more room to grow anyway. Two days later it's fully recovered.
