I have had great success with all softies put in my tank, so I am considering getting a yellow fiji leather (when I am sure my parameters are all back under control - they are getting there). I know they are more sensitive than other leathers to water quality and I should be very careful not to touch them because they're sensitive to the oils and bacteria on our skin. Is there anything else here that I don't know?

My major question is actually with lighting. Everything I've read said "moderate" lighting. Since I have PC lights, does this mean I should put it at the top of my tank? Or is this just "moderate" in comparison to other leathers? What have been your experiences?

Lissa I would say moderate lighting is not the best for that piece. High lighting and good flow for them is a must.

High lighting to maintain the bright yellow coloration.
