I had a Galaxia starting at 2 pin head size that everyone thought it's dead(actually they thought it's analgae patch) when I first OWNed my SW tank. It has grown into a full colony by two days ago with sweepers sweeping the everywhere. His neighbours include some mushrooms, cauliflower, waving hands and a cup coral. For more than a year, they have no issues and I did not see any sign of fighting at all even though they rubbing each other.
Yesterday, I came home last night and found that half of colony is melting. No apparent attackers, no coral felt on top of it, no sweepers from any other corals tangling around it. The only thing that is a little odd is a turbo smail walking over it. The other half looks just as healthly as it could be. Everything in the tank is fine and water checks out fine. So no clue-no reason to do anything. This morning(5 hours later), the other half is gone too!!!! Talk about RTN-Shaun you are not a lone. Couple hours, the world flipped.
:banghead:
I am especially attached to this coral.:anger2: If I found out it's the snail, it is going to be fish and coral food in my next recipe!
