About 3 or 4 months ago I bought 2 heads of frogspawn from a friend and it seems that one of the heads has extended out to the side and the mouth has slit into 2, but there is still one foot. I really have never fragged a frogspawn, so I have no idea what to do. Will it separate naturally or do I have to cut it up or something?

As the coral grows the heads will split and this will keep happening as long as it is healthy. Fragging a coral is when you cut a peice of the coral off in your case cutting a head off would be fragging it.

I always just snap off a branch at the base. Just make sure the soft coral heads have receded back so you won't damage them. Also, wear thick gloves before you snap off a frag, the first time I did it I sliced open my hand. Very easy to do!
