I had a micromusa that I bought over a year ago but it did not grow. Then over the past 6 months the polyps got bigger and were almost the size of a dime. And then one day it was all gone with just a skeleton of each head remaining. The only critter I have that maybe could eat it is a pepermint shrimp but he was in the tank over a month and I never saw him bother anything. Do they self distruct?

They tend to detatch from their skeleton when the parameters are off sometimes. Did you greatly change the flow they were receiving when you changed tanks recently?

It is hard to tell. I kept them in a high flow before but in this new tank ithe flow in general is much stronger.
No other corals near it.
