Feeding a Green Mushroom Coral

I just got my first coral, a green mushroom coral. LFS sold me Kent Phytoplex and told me to put 5 drops in the tank once a week. But I've also read of people having big algae blooms when using this stuff. My tank has been set up for 5 weeks and I just got my first fish and coral. I have not had any algae problems. I use RO/DI water.

Any thoughts on feeding the coral?

Return the Phytoplex for a refund/credit.

All the mushroom will need is good water conditions and sufficient light.
