Hey Reefers! Lets talk Wilsoni Corals, as they are not a very well-known LPS coral to our hobby, but what they lack in commonality, they make up for in WOW FACTOR!
Wilsoni are a lower light and lower flow coral. They are hardy eaters, with several polyps per colony, and look their best under blue actinic lighting. Their polyp structure and growth is similar to other LPS like Lobos, Platygyra, and Symphllia. Winding into an incredible maze of color, and growing outward.
We were lucky enough to get several batches of these gorgeous, yet unique, corals in recently, and they do not disappoint! As rare as they are, the most desirable color morphs of them, are even more difficult to acquire. Rainbow Wilsoni, and we can't get enough of them! Crazy reds, greens, blues, purples, oranges, and pinks come together to make a one of a kind piece with every Wilsoni!
