DIY light support idea for ai vega?

So I don't want to drill holes in the ceiling for the hanging kit but I have an idea I would like to know your opinions!

What do you guys think if I were to get 6 inch acrylic rods that would fight into the screw holes at the bottom of the Vegas and basically make it into a table? I have a glass top covering my water.

I used a cieling projector/dlp projector mount i got on ebay for like 12 bucks but instead put it on the wall

Get conduit bend it and strap it to the side or back of the stand. Or you can make something similar to what your at thinking out of pvc and just paint it whatever color you want. I can tell you how.
