Filter Sock Replacement

I have a love-hate relationship with filter socks, as do most people I assume. I still wanted a bit of filtration though to prevent unnecessary detritus from building up in the sump. So this is what I created.

Really happy with it so far!!

nice. That is what ive seen reefers do for the red sea tanks. Then add filter floss or media. I would make sure you have an emergency drain. There are 2 drains for reefer.

Where did you buy the material?

My sump has an overflow drain so I’m not too worried. I have a CNC so I just bought plexi at canal plastics and put it all together.

I would certainly be interested in buying something similar down the line. What was the cost?
